pearl gouramis are lovely lookers,especially the male (i have 1M2F)

Your fry may or may not survive (as your planted you may see some make it to maturity)
I have some livebearers in my tank,but also some angels..meaning ive seen zero fry..may rehome my livebearers one day and increase my schooling fish numbers

well, if i just put the pregenant livebearers into a breeding trap then the fry will go to the nursery at the bottom of it, then i can put the female back into the tank! from here i can put the fry into my 35 litre tank, raise, then sell them to the pet shop (im not doing it for the money. It's just because i like livebearers )

I have 3 opaline gourami and they have never touched my platty fry - with the number of livebearers you have in there a little natural selection isn't really going to be a problem anyway

Id go for survival of the fittest method if i were you (its how im operating...but with angels im seeing no survivors...)
That way you still get lovely looking adults in the tank and some live food for your inhabitants,and some strong fry will make it...who knows,even i may have fry in my tank somewhere (i know how good they are at hiding)

er i would go with either a red tail black shark, opaline gourami, gold gourami or some rams
