What Is Wrong With Guppies And Angels Together?

A While ago i put an angel in my tank and found that they weren't compatible with my cichlids so i transferred it to a bowl.
i later converted to a livebearers tank. and today put it in.
its compatible with all the fish in there but my guppies. so i wanna know why they aren't compatible because i dont want it in the bowl.

It depends on the angel. Some seem to get along with everything, others will start eating the guppies. If you can't give it a good home rehome it or take it back to the store, you should not have it in a bowl.

Do not keep him in a bowl. Some angels (and many larger fish, for that matter) will chase, kill or eat smaller fish.

If he isn't compatible, he isn't compatible. Take him back to the shop as to keep him is to put your enjoyment of him before the welfare of the fish.

You can help by giving the fish more places to hide, but what is the point in having guppies that hide all the time?

oh it seems pretty chilled but i cant be sure at this point as i saw it rush one of my guppies the other day.
though it does seem to keep to itself

As has already been said, I wouldn't keep an angel with guppies at all.
All may seem to be ok for a while, with just a bit of rushing about and chasing but one morning you'll probably come downstairs to find you're missing several guppies.
Sometimes you can be lucky and get an angel who won't but it's rare and usually only when the angel has been brought up with small fish from the start I think.
You need to decide which you really want to have, an angel or guppies. Personally I'd go for the angel but thats just my personal choice.

well at the time the angel is in no way large enough to eat any of the guppies but yes i understand attacks can happen anytime.
i'll probably keep the guppies as my tank is themed to livebearers
