My mother in law….Catch and release!

You’re lucky to still have one at your age . Most have perished when a guy gets into his seventies . I miss my old Mother - In - Law from my first marriage . She was a laugh riot and had everybody cracking up all the time .

Mother-in-laws can be strange. When I split with my ex my ex mother-in-law sent me birthday and Christmas cards with money enclosed for years.

My mother in law's childhood village by the sea has become a tourist attraction. It's a beautiful little place. We went for a drive there yesterday, just for something different as she no longer can walk so well, and we had a good time. She lived there with no electricity, horses on the streets with the occasional car, and a huge family. In over 90 years, she's seen some changes. I'm lucky to be able to listen to some of the insights, although like all of us, she does repeat tales a lot.

We are so lucky to have someone in their golden age who can remember everything...I can't remember yesterday

Today we have our two sons and daughter joining me and my wife, and my mother-in-law for Sunday lunch. Slow-cooked pulled pork, roast potatoes, veg and Yorkshire Puddings

Another hot day to enjoy . Last night we got a gentle summer rain right at sunset which was nice and it’s beautiful this morning . This is a great summer . I didn’t have much hope after the cool June we had but here it is !

The weather is absolutely perfect. Partly cloudy skies and perfect 75 degree temperature with a light cool breeze. I’m just lounging in the backyard after eating leftover chinese food appetizers while surfing the net on my iphone.

The weather is absolutely perfect here if you like heavy clouds and 80% humidty with temps around 91.

We too have perfection. 23c, a cool breeze from the ocean and bright sunshine. Summer is wonderful.
