LOL! That is sort of funny as, when I had my SA cichlid tanks, Green Terrors were some of the most peaceful. I think they are under rated in a community tank. Thing is that they have to be introduced to a tank while young.

This afternoon, a nap, then a trip up the hill to find some shoots for arrow shafts. (I have a friend working on some hand-forged, hopefully Damascus trade-style points, and I need appropriately cool arrow shafts to mount them to) And maybe catch a few fish while I'm up there...

I had a visit to a fish store I've never been to today. Ripples Waterlife @Bridgemere. A very well-kept shop with reasonable prices, especially for dry goods. Saw a couple of species I've never seen before. The best looking ones were a group of Knodus borki and some black Venezuelan Corys. Also, they had some very personable turtules Didn't manage to get many pics as it was busy

Just made another Amazon order getting some Libby tumblers and rock glasses; 8 of each. After 13 yeses I've run short on glasses and I think these look really good. Actually I haven't broken any glass in the previous set but a young lady I used to see broke 5 tumblers and 2 rock glasses.

Anyway this is what I'm trying. Slightly smaller than my current but large enough. Tumblers are 16.75 ounce while the previous are 18 ounce but that is close enough. I just think they look really cool and Libby is a good brand. The tumblers will be my normal drink glasses and the rocks for mostly things like jello with fruit and puddings.

I just ordered some new fishies from TWS--they finally had everything I wanted! 8 each Sawbwa resplendens and Physoschistura mango for the Inle tank; six Penthia padamya for the Himalayan tank, and eight orange lemon tetras (a type I have long wanted to try) for the dentist office tank. Love getting me some new fishies.

Also, I just noticed that my padamya barbs are acting a lot like they're spawning...but they're also acting like they're feeding. Does not bode well for the youngsters.

It seems that my 16-year-old Satellite AS-878 sound is not working so well anymore... the guys who used to repair it, they do not repair it anymore... a new sound system for my computer would be extremely expensive, so I am simply using my JBL Go 4 for now. I think about Edifier X100B RMS 15W like this. Also, my headphone piece collapsed, and I stopped using it because it is now hurting my head. Apparently, no warranty.

I tried to scan a book with Google Drive. It seems to be interesting; however, it requires a lot of attention and physical effort from my fingers. Is there anything better than that? That's even though I'm still using my phone with a tripod, saving my arms some of the strain.

It seems that Ágatha did not like the model I tried to draw. Indeed, the real model is far more beautiful than this simple drawing.

For my brine shrimp culture, it seems that the only solution to remove detritus from the water without losing brine shrimp with a siphon is to rake on the substrate, so all of the settled organic matter is suspended, and then my sponge filter catches all of that (I increase abruptly the air pump flow rate to the maximum), while the shrimp may eat some of these suspended particles. Later, I wash this sponge filter with water, and then I place it on the culture again.

Welp . . . . it’s time change day and the headache of that . I’m half tempted to just leave them alone . Time means nothing to me anymore . I have the odd appointment here and there but that’s rare . What really is time other than an invention of man ? The sun comes up , it moves across the sky and then it sets . Not really though . The sun stays in the same spot and we ride the merry go round of the earth underneath it . You poor souls in the workaday world of jobs and schools have to bear up under the lash of the minute hand but retirees , such as myself , have no such taskmaster .
Aw . . . I’ll go ahead and futz with the clocks I guess . Got nothing else on the agenda today .

I've finished repairing the fence between us and our neighbor. We recently had a storm and it had clearly done its job in the backyard. And I've cleaned up the backyard a bit for it was a beautiful day today. It looks more like spring instead of winter overhere.
