First of all i don't want stupid comments like "you might as well use it as a vase" or "flowers".

I have a 2 gallon tank, intended for a betta but my filter is quite strong and i can't think of a way to reduce the flow so I'm looking to see if there are any alternatives which i doubt but i thought i'd ask anyway!

shrimp, african dwarf frog, bumblebee gobys... :good:

acorn pets shop do a little mini filter and heater kit ( sure it was a heater) really small it is, my daughter has one in her tiny tank, and it housed a fighting fish till yesterday, but it certainly wasnt too strong for him

i've been toying with the idea of a very small tank set up as a planted tank but with no fish in. no fish means you can go all out and really gear the tank up for plants, add all the CO2, ferts etc etc that you like and not worry over poisoning the fish. Can make a very very pretty little tank that way.

I have also thought of doing this, but i havn't got the funds :(

would be really cool, though :D

i've just got a convenient spot for a very very small tank, but i'm not allowed to set one up. as the other half is very into planted tanks i keep thinking that this may be a way to persuade him!! :shifty:
