Veggie Flakes

Anybody use veggie flakes for their fish? I'm sure most of mine would love it, just wondering what the general consensus here is regarding them.

I use TetraPro Vegetable (if that's what you mean by veggie flakes) mainly because of my Rainbows but all the fish like them. I use them alongside normal flake, tetraprima, fresh veg and frozen bloodworm.

Actually, I was looking at the Omega 3 brand veggie flakes. I use their fish flakes for my fish along with their freeze dried bloodworms.

lol I don't understand 7 of those words in the last sentence.

Anyway, I feed a variety of flake, including veggie flakes. Is there any particular reason to go for veggie flakes?

Yeah, only cause I'm not sure my Otocinclus is getting enough algae to eat. My tank doesn't have much algae anymore and I know he doesn't eat regular flake food. I suppose he probably won't chase veggie flakes either, huh?

For otos you'd be better using algae wafers or vegetables. They won't really go for flakes (mine never have anyway) and being bottom feeders they can miss out on food that is really designed for surface feeders such as flake.
