It's not easy to get NorthFin in the UK, but I am slowly sourcing some, and most of it seems to get mailed over from America.

I keep Central American cichlids and Kribensis (Pelvicachromis pulcher).

Is organic kelp, or any kelp, a good ingredient for omnivores? I'm figuring yes. If so, it's a pretty good first four ingredients in this food; organic kelp, whole antarctic krill meal, whole herring meal, and whole sardine meal.

It say's veggie food, but three of the four first ingredients are fish.

People here often eat dulse, a salty dried purple seaweed that goes with a cold beer instead of chips/crisps. I dislike it myself, but it makes an excellent fish food. I sometimes pick it up for the veggie lovers, and they eat it with gusto.

Northfin is a Canadian company. I used to buy their bug bites formula, and it was as good as any processed food. I can't get them easily in my eastern corner of Canada though - another Canadian company, Fluval, seems to out distribute them. Actually, around here, it's easier to get the Polish competitor.

The ways of distribution and markets are mysterious.

When I had CA Cichlids, they ate anything, grew and bred. My Cryptoheros would have done well on that mix. P pulcher are detritivores, so they like their soft leaves and such, along with the protein that lives in them. The foods should be great.
