Veggies for emergent growth?

OK, it looks like I'm actually going this. Probably going to do a couple indeterminate tomatoes, pinched off to keep them low-growing, a mini Thai pepper, with Corsican mint, watercress, and dwarf Greek basil filling in between them. Thoughts?

My main thought is now that the basil is taking off outside, I'm going to switch a plant or two into the top of one of the tanks. No observations, just inspiration.
