Well, Alfie's still doing well, and seems like a very happy little fooshie :good: I've had him almost 7 weeks now. It doesn't seem that long!

I got him some 'friends' at the weekend.. Strudel (yes, I stole the name! I just think it's a great name!) and Ozzy ;) :hyper:

Awwwwww my little Strudel has been reborn as a Guineapig.....soooo cute

Hope you don't mind me borrowing the name, Netty.. It's just such a great name! :good:

Not at all Deefus....it's nice to see it being used and it really suits him too :good: :good:

umm, dont mean to be a prat, but.... are they both boys? both girls ? or one of each? in the same cage?
i have bred many little piggies in the past and currently have 2 females, happy and patches.females usually get along great,,
however,,,, if its a boy and a girl they will have babies, alot,, alittle more than a month for a pregnancy, and babies well boys espicaly can get a female pregnant as soon a a month old. weather its their mom or sister.
and two males , even brothers can somtimes be very aggressive with each other,, somtimes to the point of maiming or killing one or both.

They're both boys!
I've kept boys together before, with no problems at all, but will be keeping an eye on them, just in case :good:

When are they going in the tank? I might chuck them in tomorrow, for a swim :fun:

I would have something to divide the tank on hand then, and I would also place two water bottles and two small food dishes at opisite sides of their cage....may help stem any agresion that pops up from them trying to share food and water.

No flaring but definately so teeth chattering!!!
Speaking from experience dont put your hand in the middle, lol!! I have a scar to prove that a guinea doesnt bite gently!!

I currently have 5 boars and 4 live together and 1 boar on his own, Elvis, he was used for breeding and will not accept the other boars at all, I tried yesterday and its teeth chattering and war dancing, they a mouth full of hair! Radley my dominant boar will not accept him.

I have visions of a guinea pig, in a feathered head-dress, doing some bizarre war dance now!
