Scarlet badis looks like he's dying

I doubt it's the food, but you never know. Maybe I am in the minority, but I would never feed my fish live food unless it's something I've raised / cultured myself. I'm not comfortable with the idea, feels a bit like Russian roulette to me, the same as not quarenteening a Fish. Maybe just my anxiety.

Unfortunately I don't have space for a live food culture, and he float out refused anything frozen on the odd occasion when I ran out of live food. I feed my frogs the same live food and haven't had any issues with them (touch wood) although will probably go back to frozen now. I've heard that US bloodworms can cause issues as they're not really bloodworms but are sold as such, but I'm in the UK so in theory shouldn't have that issue.
