Last night one of my interpet heaters started to make a squealing noise, so I replaced it. I noticed that there is condensation on the inside of it. I have 3 other heaters that look the same but make no noise, is this safe?

interpet do say:

Condensation can occurĀ at manufacturing stage, due to the humidity of the environment, in which the heatersĀ areĀ produced,Ā but this does not in any way affect the performance of the heater, nor is it a safety issue.

Just not sure I trust them.

Hi Reirei. I just bought a interpet 200w due to me breaking my other heater by mistake. I do have a slight mist in my heater normally when it heats up. But it seems fine apart from me having to set it to 30c to get 25c in the tank. However I don't really like interpret myself but was force to buy it due to having no heater.

That noise normally means the heater is not far off to the dying stage. I'd replace it.
