You'll want to use a nice reflector, the lumenbright and lumenarc are two of the best on the market, these are meant to be high off the tank (canopy use).

Those are all skimmer options. They are around the same league, some are better than the others. Needle-wheel and becket injector are the most popular types of skimmers, spray induction is gaining in ranks (although some people report bad stuff about them). Tunze is the only one there i think that is venturi, and tunze skimmers are great, but price wise, i dunno its your choice. The bubble king up there is probably the best that i showed you up there (yet its at 750 dollars) a deltec would also be good, within the same league as the bubble king so ive heard, price is similar to the bubble king.
In tank pumps I now only recommend tunze because the hydor wavemakers are way over priced compared to the tunze ones. But you dont have to have a wavemaker, if you never plan on a wavemaker, hydor and modded maxies are the way to go to save money, but tunze are better than the two. Eco-tech would be another choice, these motors are external so it cuts down like 80% of the heat that would regularly go in the tank with a full internal pump. But they are expensive.
Id recommend visi-therm heaters, or ebo-jager
For return pumps from the sump, internal the best would be an eheim, mag drive is cheaper in price and quality, but still isnt very very bad quality though. I dont know what external pump would be good if you go that route though.
I always recommend an auto-top off and i dont recommend anything else except the tunze osmolator, it works great in my tank, and in EVERYONE elses tank that ive heard of. A product such as an auto-top off is not something that i would ever recommend to skimp on since if this fails, its not a matter of buying a new one like a failed skimmer or something, this may cause a flood of freshwater in the tank drastically lowering the SG until your left with a brackish tank filled with dead fish. So nothing but the tunze IMO.
