Definitely not peacocks haha they’ll be loud, poop everywhere and get up on the roof. Most likely goats, or a cow or two. My dad wants something useful. The plan was to get two horses as well but since I’m the horse person of the family it would be my job to care for them, which unfortunately is no longer an option
That sounds like wonderful selection of animals...

Sorry to hear about the horses 😕
I know how much you like them.

Finished a knife. Handle is from this year's antelope. End cap and hand guard are bison hoof. Blade is from some blacksmith that was having a sale on etsy.

I don't keep track of hours...most of my projects fall into the "I don't want to know" category. It has a 3" rattail tang.

Goats. Will stay in a fence. I love your optimism. Don't ever lose that.

I never have worked with goats. I like them. They seem to have more personality than your average ungulate. But I've heard they are total escape artists. That's why I've never tried them. Now we live in town so it's no longer an option.

I molded a sheath for this knife out of some bark-tanned deerskin I had lying around, made a lanyard that looks like a bowstring, and gave it to my hunting partner for Christmas. He liked it a lot. :)
