I recently added 10 C. pygmaeus to a tank with 30 B. brigittae and many neocaridina. I’m feeding the pygmy corydora Repashy and spirulina pellets, both which quickly sink to the substrate. The shrimp arrive at the food first. I’m hoping the pygmies get their fair share of the food. How and what do you feed your pygmies?

What you are feeding is probably fine; I don't really feed mine - i feed some f1 nijjensi with them and they eat the left over along with the green neon tetra. Mine are in a 20 long. There lots of plants and stuff for them to nibble on. I give the f1 nijjensi either frozen brine shrimp (thawed out of course) yum yum yum or a mix of algae-max/bug bite tropical ground to a powder. Since you can't see anything in the tank itself i have no clue which they prefer but that is another story. However after 20 months when i shine a light in there i can assert that if not all then most of them are still alive though i have no clue if i have more than i started with.

As for the green neon tetra -they are part of my famous thought they all died group because they hid from me 100% for over 2 years. Little suckers. Now they are giant monsters bigger than the biggest green neon tetra you have ever seen. Stupid fishes.
