Thought I Was Full.....

hello,

i thought my tank was full and havent added anything new to it for a quite a while but since reading a few other peoples stocking i got curious but struggled to work it out.

the tank and stocking:
55g
fluval 305
5 harlequins
9 lemon tetras
10 neons
2 keyholes
1 BN
3 pristellas
5 flame tetras

sorry but i have tried and struggled to work it out. tanks is 2 years old and never had any problems with stats

You probably could top up the schools, but I don't think you would be doing the fish population any good if you did (although individual fish would benefit). Personally, I would have fewer in there.

a few people on here do run overstocked tanks but for the most part we do more than recomended water changes and use a lot more filtration

thats right. im proudly one of them. by having 20 guppies, 17 of which are fry, my 7g is 290% overstocked, according to AQ advisor. but it is a VERY good website and reccomend to anyone wondering about overstocked

was thinking of adding some more harlequins and pristellas

3x pristella
1x harlequin
1x flame

and your stocked completely there
