Wouldn't you want some young members anyways, I mean if you have a mixture than you have a mixture of articles and opinions and then you have different age groups and not to be harsh or anything but we all die, the young have to carry on the burden. I'm only 14 and I find a lot of time to spend on here and I'm in almost all honors and get A's plus play sports. O well I don't like seeing people fight, here or away from a computer.

PM sent Bloo and geo7x

As I thought about this when I went for my run, gota run for CC this is more of a opinion topic, some kids will find school easier than others and can get their work done faster thus giving them time to spend on here while others will not and take longer to do their homework and study and they won't have time, so really it depends on the person.

look mate im not going to keep arguing but exams make up about 60% of your schooling you actually have to concentrate in school etc etc just because he has dones sats doesnt mean he can switch of till the next set of exams life doesnt work like that. This was my main reason i thought you should all concentrate on schooling instead of speding all your extra time on this

its pretty easy to look back now and say - " work hard and concentrate on your exams " but c'mon - were teenagers!

Thats the immature attitude i was mentioning look at what you just said. Yeah your teenagers but you dont understand how important theese years of your life are. Just look at you immature comment and think about what just being a teenager is life aint easy mate and you need to grow up quick.

enough callin people imature mate.

its obviously not going down well.

whilst i agree that exams are important, they dont take up as much time as you seem to think.

how is writing a newsletter any different from playing football or sitting infront of a games console?

its better IMO.

and another thing to note is this isnt a proffesional newsletter. its jus something we want to read every now and again.

i dont mean you guys arent gonna try but its not gonna take the deication of a proper magazine or anything.

jus see how it goes eh?

When I was their age I didn't study, infact I rarely showed up to most of my lessons in what is called the 'most important time of your life'. no it isn't. All the time is the most important time, you can become something great with no qualifications behind you, you just need the will power, the passion and the enthusiasm for it.

Yes, studying for exams is important if you want the grades, but if your happy without them then why the bother? My girlfriend finished her degree a year ago, and found it quite difficult to get a job, but I've only been to college and I seem to have no problems.

..I got into college with 2 GCSE's, and if I can do it, anyone can.

Spend more time on what you're passionate about.

Course you can mate you can do what ever you want with no qualifications thats right:
Doctors yeah they didnt study at school at all most of them didnt go to school
judges Barristers solicitors nope no qualifications needed here just waltz straight in to that job.
Do i really need to go on.
What you need to understand paul and you should is that jobs are 10 a penny anyone can get a job but a career isnt that easy.

look mate you are not our parents it is not you place to say any of this i really hope a mod comes and shuts this thread cos its gone off topic and you mate should leave us alone

i never told anyone of you not to do it did i i said you should concentrate on your schooling and at one point i did say good luck to you. So stop trying to act all picke on to make it look like i am abusing you all this thread was bought back up by someone then some other kid went were all teenagers who obviously doesnt realise how important schooling actually is. So get off your little band wagon mate trying to act all hard done by.

Oh really?

Maybe not if you want to be something that takes 6/8 years training, but if that's what your passionate about then you'd do it anyway. But careers are plentiful in most job types, and you don't need a degree to get there.

I used to work for nationwide building society, if I had stayed there, in 2 years i could have been a Finance advisor, earning close to 35k.. and that was before I had even gone to college.

Even if you work at Asda [wal-mart], there are career oppurtunities, and they ain't too bad. ;)

Yeah thats it a manager at asda thats what people should set there sights to is it and if there really lucky they could even clean up after us at mc donalds. Have a word if you lack no motivation and drive then thats a job for you.

easy, there's nothing wrong with being a manager at a supermarket. Yeh it's not a doctor, but it still pays, and it needs doing.

Why does everyone have to strive to be something like a doctor or barrister?

some people are more than happy with working in retail, catering, logistics, labouring, gardening, and loads more that don't need qualifications!

Asda manager was just an example, open your mind.

...Where do you work?

Well this went off-topic.

Mark and Paul ~ If you want to continue debating this, please take it to PMs. Thanks. :)
