Tff Newsletter Out Now

One word of warning about removing the Juwel internal filters.. Take your time and be careful. I probably should have used the bigger stanley knife "snap off" blades as suggested (but i did it before the newsletter), rather than the more flexible smaller one that I managed to get hold of. Remember its called a "snap off" blade for a reason. My flimsy little one just so happened to 'snap off' whilst i was doing it, and go into my finger, and boy does blood look worse when your working with water. We had to clean the tank, the carpet, a bit at the bottom of the wall and my finger after that effort.

An alternative which i then moved to was a replacement flexible blade for something like a mini-hacksaw. This seemed to do the job quite well as it was thin enough to get behind the filter housing. It doen't do the job quite as cleanly, but you can follow it up afterwards with a blade once the housing has been removed to clean up the job..

Good luck.. It's worth doing.. just try to do it less painfully than I did. :-( :/ :good:
