The end of humankind

The last time I saw a guy bright enough to make a rocket... He was also crazy enough to be in it when it launched.

I would really want to know his last thoughts....

“Oh! The earth is not flat”!

I saw that a few years ago . You just have to know that there was a point when he knew he wasn’t going to make it . There are FAA regulations for high power rocketry and I think it’s safe to assume that he didn’t file any paperwork .

You just have to know that there was a point when he knew he wasn’t going to make it

I knew at the moment he had the idea.

But he still never admitted it... And when trough like it was to succeed...

So his last thought must have been something like:

"...Here we are."

Come on people .... It is worth remembering humans survived ice ages which in my mind could not be worse than some heat.

I am a Christian so I belive the end will come eventually by another hand. Some here believe that others do not. The cool thing about that is:

If I am right ... we will all know it. If I am wrong nobody can point at me and laugh.

With that said ,,, and until such time the hand comes to crush the world ...

I am a firm believer in technology. Many years ago, my Anthropology professor said, (and it is without a doubt a quote from somewhere). We do not have claws, the biggest teeth, the fastest legs. We have no fur for warmth, gills to breath water, or wings to fly. Yet we persevere. Why, because we have technology and the ability to remember, to plan, and to change our surroundings to suit our needs. So, while technology is the root of our ills, it also the solution and every solution brings new ills to be cured. (That is a paraphrase. She was much long winded.

Confirms the idea that we don't belong here in the first place...

Without a good injection of wisdom... The future of humanity is pretty grim. But as time advances we are tilting more and more in the age of Aquarius that will bring wisdom.

Without noticing populations will increase awareness unknowingly, having greater emphasis on consciousness and develop what I would call an Individualist Globalization of the mind. While moving to more global matters, the respect and needs of one self will remain at the centre of this development. That will cause a shift toward more collective values, social justice, and equality for "real" and for "all".

As the gradual shift in energetic influences while the Earth continues its slow precession... Peoples will learn to live in peace then the incredible technology advances that will come out our collaborations will propel humanity into a new era of global wealth and preservation of our heritage while we reach the stars and conquer the universe.

See... It's not all doom :)

In the end there will be nothing left as the sun explodes - didn't we have this discussion not so long ago - anyway we can all look forward to a toasty future to be follow by near absolute cold.
Just be on the lookout for extra moons that aren't really moons...
