I saw this listed and dvr'd it since we were out last night. I hadn't seen it since I was a youth and I've read interesting articles about it. Watched it this morning. It did not disappoint.

I missed Svengoolie this week in favor of watching ” Super 8 “ on PBS . It was pretty good sci-fi from J.J. Abrams with subtle nods to Close Encounters of The Third Kind and E.T. Ron Eldard from “Roadie “ was an underrated star in this movie .

I just watched this on TCM a few weeks ago. Great movie for sure.

Rated highly on IMDB. It’s a psychological thriller - my kind of movie.

In the cast is Eileen Heckart as Mrs. Hortense Daigle , better known as Little Mary Jackson in “ Heartbreak Ridge “ . This is coming straight from Berwyn . BERWYN ! ? !?

I watched it again last night. It's still riveting. Which begs the question, why hasn't Hollywood remade this movie? Lord knows they've remade everything else.
