Streaming seems good for old movies, but isn't this thread about the Svengoolie experience?

It's a US thing I've never seen and that I'd probably forget to turn on the TV for anyway, but it's old school scheduled TV, right?

Yes Svengoolie is accessible via an antenna. But it has lots of commercials so I sometimes watch the same movies via streaming and they are often available for free.

If you had ever seen Svengoolie then a hi jacked thread kind of sums up the Svengoolie experience . Svengoolie is a mish mash of just about everything when the movie isn’t playing .

Who will win - all the excitement. If only for once the monsters could prevail..... the vile critters could find peace and harmony.

It occur to me that all these old movies need 1000 alternative endings so each time you watched them they can end a different way !

I always root for the monsters and I’m glad when they win . Monster movies are a metaphor and the monster represents an outcast in society . Godzilla , as destructive as he is , still always finds it within himself to not punish his tormentors as much as they did him .

Watching Destroy All Monsters on Dark Matter app on my roku tv as I missed Svengoolie’s start time. This app also has no commercials so I can watch the whole movie in 90 minutes.
