Storing Water 24 Hrs... Dechlorine?

its not only a dechlorinator it
also sorts out heavy metals
and brakes the bond on Chloramine
as well which aerating doesn't do

may i ask what is the problem
the dechlorinator and the use
of it in tropical tanks i used to
let my water stand but used to
still used dechlorinator

I asked because i have ordered another one, & with that i was thinking if storing water in advance would it be necessary for the chlorinator.

the answer is, (a qualified) "yes". but both Biffo and i are asking is, WHY? there is no, significant, advantage gained. not even in monetary terms. and thats ignoring the, possible, dangers of not binding heavy metals.

its just hard to see the logic in the plan.
