Somebody Identify Me This Fish Please

Well first I'd get maybe 2 males and 4 females or 5 females and watch the magic happen. They are livebearers too in case you didn't know ;) the male: female ratio should be 1 male : 2+ females :good:

And somebody's just told me that my rams may look unhappy because they are shy with them just been brought into a new tank

Ok, would a breeding net be needed?

What's the temperature of your water?

No but if you want the fry to all survive the best thing to do would be to get another maybe 10+ gallon breeding tank or if your tank has tons of hiding spots the fry can probably fend for themselves. Whenever mine drop I usually have 2-5+ survive so

Ok thanks, I only started to use this forum today, and I have learned a lot already thanks for the help people (Y)

That's a bit high for your other fish and a bit low for your rams. I think a better choice would be bolivian rams because they are much hardier and they have similar requirements to your other fish. They're also very similar in colors.

Actually the temp is a little high for the rams even too so I'd lower it to 27-28 as a compromise so maybe 28 I think that's about 80

What good fish would you advise for my tank, I'm lookin for abit more aggresive fish though?

I'm not sure if aggressive fish would be the best choice with the fish you already have because your unknown species of harlequin may get eaten by the larger more aggressive fish but you could look at some scarlet badis/ Dario Dario

I am moving my smaller fish along to another tank, what about angle fish/ discus?

And those Scarlett's are pritty nice

Noooooooooooo discus!!! And how tall is your tank?

How come? And how is what??

About half a meter something like that

They require
1. Larger tank
2. Much higher temps I believe 86-88
3. I think it's high ph but I'm not too sure and everyone says they always buffer it
4. They're not very hardy and a very hard fish to keep and expensive if they die because their water wasn't in top condition
5. Many use ro water but idk if it's neccesary

Could I get an exact measure on the height of tour tank?

Yes you could have angel fish if that's what you were talking about I'm not sure what an angle fish is soooo
