Some Ideas Please New Tank

Any one got any idea on the fish mentioned about

I have rummynose and they are lovely, very active in a big group and add nice colour I would say a group of 8 maybe

I also have embers but find them a little bit boring tbh.

Cardinals are lovely and colours again are beautiful!

I had a rtbs and once he got bigger he was quite aggresive and chased other smaller fish so I have had to rehome him, they do get rather chunky aswell.

Gouramis are lovely, I don't have the honey but I have other dwarf gouramis and they look nice with the smaller community fish.

I don't know about the others I'm afraid.

Another option could be corydora catfish, they are bottom dwellers and have a lot of character! I love them

I went and had a look today and saw some corydoras julii which looked pretty nice and i no people do seem to love them an say about having lots of charater so maybe i'll see

Well the bottle of ammonia that ive ordered online has not arrived abut should arrive on friday(should have arrived last week) So i started adding some flake food (to get some sort of ammonia in the tank) that was saturday, today i tested the water again just to see how things were going and just to use all of the tests in the API Master Kit and got some results that i wasnt expecting

Ammonia at 0.5 ppm (didnt supprise me to much)
Nitrate at 0.5 ppm (kinda supprised me)
Nitrate at 80 ppm

the water was at 0 for every thing when it went in and PH was 7.2 and all thats been added is some flake food ive not checked the PH again
What could cause the readings to be like this or is this normal and im being a Turd.
I did each test two times to make sure it wasnt just me doing them wrong but i got the same both times?

cheers i'll try an get round to digging out my camera at the weekend and get some better photos

Also ive now got the ammonia so all is on track,
