Bonus fishy - please ID if you can

I bought some cherry shrimp, snails, and a dwarf crayfish today! In the bag with the shrimp was a little fish about 1/2 inch long. It is very darty, moving constantly along the glass. I've been trying for hours to get a decent picture. This is the best I can do. Any ideas? Not sure yet if I should keep it or return it.

Other bonuses: Buried in the rock wool of one of the plants, I spotted a shimmery dot the size of a pinhead. It looks to be a golden mystery snail baby. I'm keeping that one for sure.

Last week this same fish place accidentally gave me an assassin snail in some plants. At first I thought it was a small rock and almost threw it away. I returned that little dude today.

looks like a standard female guppy, unless you got it from someplace that handles specialty fish… often specialty female guppy’s show no sign of what they are capable of producing with the correct male

So this is a female then? Is it a fry? Do guppies like to be in a group? I only had betta food on hand. The pellets were too large for her tiny mouth, so I crushed them up. Is this adequate food? I wasn't prepared to get any fish just yet.

It's a very young female who looks like maybe times were lean where she grew up. Betta food is just regular fish food, so crushed is fine. They are sociable to a point, but she'll be fine on her own.

He may not play nice with them. Some crayfish species will get fish at night, when they settle down. I don't know with yours as I won't let a crayfish get near any tank I have! If I were you, I'd start looking up info on those specific crays.

Good to know! I just want peaceful tanks and no drama. I think I'll return it today and get more shrimp and a few guppies instead. If I had my 5 gal set up I'd put him in there alone, but I don't have time for that right now.

Wise move returning the crayfish, then. Most crayfish I've kept turn a peaceful tank into a real life episode of "Naked and Afraid."

OK, I just returned little Attila and got 2 more young guppies and 5 more shrimp. The fish guy told me that guppies can get nippy with shrimp when they're bigger. I will probably have them moved to the bigger tank by then. If it ever finishes cycling

Here is the happy trio. The two newer ones are smaller. The original seems much more relaxed now. Yesterday she was all over the place.
I was planning to get either guppies or endlers because of my hard water, so this worked out.
