Snakeheads

I maybe looking for a small sp of Snakehead for a "Pet" type fish, as a feature fish for a hallway species tank.
If this is going to come to fruition I would be looking toward a smaller Snakehead sp.
What sizes do Channa gaucha and Channa ornatipinnis attain respectively under optimum aquarium conditions.
And which would be your preference
Finally are there other small Channa sp. worth considering.

6" and 8" respectively I just got some gaucha! pics are posted! Orientalis sorry if spelling is wrong but I am sure I read they reach 4".

Orientalis would be perfect Big C!! In fact I have 12 babies for sale as we speak lol

seriously I've kept a few types and my favourite has always been Orientalis.. mine are about 4-5 inches very chunky and they make an interesting bold fish in my aquarium

They also look stunning when they colour up and display against each other

Not just ready to join the party just yet as holiday to OZ beckons.
I'll keep you in mind upon my return. Looks promising, Must look into Orientalis though
