Sick betta

My Betta has been sick lately. At the beginning I thought it was fun for but now I think it is a fungus infection. This is my first Betta I have had since a child and I’m not really sure what to do to help him. He is in a 1 gallon tank with a heater. I know, I should have him in a bigger tank.. etc. but I just need to know how to help him get better. I have been using a anti fungus tablet in his water and changing it regularly. Help please! It is greatly appreciated!

i would very much like to help but i dont see where the fungus is. try using seachem paraguard or api fungus cure. if you could post another picture where the fungus is that would help. also, does the meds tell you to remove your chemical filtration? usually it would mean to remove your filter cartridge if you have a filter. dont do the water changes because that would strip all the medication away. but if the med package said that doing water changes are okay then do it. contact me on this thread if you want more info or help! good luck!
