putting the fish in soon gonna be 6 endlers 1 betta and 7 ghost shrimp filled the tank up today to check for leaks

My male betta used to kill ghost shrimp.

As for endlers, I thought the rule of thumb with keeping bettas is not to house them with any fish with flowing or brightly coloured finnage? Even if they don't attack them, it can make them unhappy with their tank environment.

I guess you could try it, take a gamble and see what happens but be ready to remove one or the other at first signs of distress.

Just my thoughts on this. I voted to keep the betta on its own.
