Electric blue acaras

Hi, i have a 300 gallon aquarium, my blue acaras laid eggs and I moved the eggs and parents to a cycled 10 gallon tank, the fry have been free swimming for about a week, my question is, when should I return the parents to the main tank, thanks in advance for any help

While blue acaras can be good parents, in a 10 things can go wrong fast. It's too small. I'd move them now.

I agree that they should be moved out given the small tank. One word of caution: separating fry from parents will sometimes cause friction between the parents. Be on the lookout if the pair bond breaks.

Thanks for that, at the moment they appear to be fine, still swimming around together and they are not being hostile towards other fish, the most aggressive fish in the tank are the angels.
