cheers minx. welcome back from the naughty step

great pics attila lovely looking tank youve got there nice little sevs. the denisons are looking nicely coloured too. keep those pics lol as now you have 2 sevs it may be the last time you see your plants looking that good

lol cheers :D

they do like to have a little nibble every now and again, although they don't tend to bother too much as long as i put a chunk of cucumber in there every other day :) keeps the BN happy too...

Edit: just a quick question, i had a male Kribensis in with my Sevs but unfortunately he recently died :( i would like to replace him as he was a fantastic little fish with loads of personality. my question is am i likely to run into problems if i get a male and a female?

ive got a pair of kribs in my tank with the sevs and have had no problems even when they had their 1st lot of fry recently

Thought Id add some newer shots of the boys :)

After the initial nightmare, all is pretty calm now, Terminator takes no notice whatsoever of the new boys, in fact one of them follows him around like some kind of hero worshipper  and so has taken on the role of his mentor and chases the other new boy relentlessly when he sees him, nothing nasty, just makes him leave his hero's presence

good stuff minx great to see the little fellas are out and about now. vinny does the same with the rotkeil who my missus has decided will be called rocky .original i know  its like me and my shaddow

Hi sev lovers! I don't have any severums.... yet!! I would love to get a couple of them though :) It's been really fun looking at all the pics, thank you!! I am curious to know if I can add a couple of sevs to my existing tank, hopefully I won't have to plan on setting up a separate one. I currently have a 55gal tank with 4 lady convicts. I originally adopted the cons when a friend had to move (he had 25 of them, mostly babies, in a 30 gal) However I have donated all but the 4 I have now to the aquarium store. They are fairly aggressive, I got a little chinese algae eater and they ate him up!

I would love to add a red sev and a rotkiel to the mix, but not if the cons would beat them up too bad. Any feedback?

Very nice sevs wayne, welcome aboard :)

@cdub, unfortunately in a 55g you couldnt keep any sevs, you need at least a 75g tank for one. Nice Convicts you have though :good:

Bummer :( I think I will maybe get a bigger tank when we get the basement finished out which probably won't be until next year.

I will start a new thread with convict questions I have, but as far as tankmates go, do you think the sevs and cons could live in a 75g or 100g tank together?
