Do they have the same latin name? What is it?

Are they any Honeys that have a different latin name?

Cheers, figured I shold know before I go shoppiing!

Honey Gourami's latin name is Trichogaster Chuna

The Red honey is the same species with a breeder induced colour morph. I would go for the un morphed honeys as it should have the stronger immune system of the two.

I thought the Red Honey WAS the basic Honey? So there are 3, Honey, Red Honey and Golden Honey?

With wild coloured honey gouramis the male is a tan colour with a yellow top fin and black throat when mature. The female is a silvery beige, often with a darker stripe from nose to tail. The man made colours are red and yellow. With these, the females are the same colour as the males. There can be some variation, for instance my yellow male is more orange than yellow towards the tail though the female is plain yellow.

Thanks for your help guys. Hopefully I'll be getting my 2 females tomorrow :D
