Purple Hose>?

Well, I came back from my trip to Scotland and Italy...all my fish are fine..... well... exept my last rubber lip well.... other wise... everythings fine.. and another thing.. the hose that is connected to my cleaning tub thing.. a part of the hose have purple spots on it.. it looks like an algea bloom.. but.. purple.... ??? it does kinda look like as if my dad used it for his wine making ( we make wine..lol) and it got stained.. my sister did finally confess to saying she had to recue my marble cory from getting sucked up the filter .. and I noticed my filter was moved too... *shrug* my family is just weird... why would anyone want to use a fish hose.. for wine?! ew. sugestions>?
