It's female so she will be at some stage of pregnancy if she's ever been in a tank with a male for around 5 minutes during the last 6 months. To my inexperienced eye, she doesn't look far off giving birth.

it's more than likely gravid it also seems to be very fat

I haven’t had platies in a long time but as all
Live bearer fish go that is definitely pregnant.
