Poll: Do You Talk To Your Betta?

O.K I'm guessing that most people talk to their Betta, at least to say hello at feeding times. Still, I may be wrong. Come on fess up on whether you talk to your Betta and how much, the results should be interesting.

Always, but I don't talk about the weather or work or me. I tell them how wonderful they are and talk about their bubble nest or cuteness or whatever catches my fancy. But it is always about them--as far as I can recall. Then I tickle their tummy or nose through the tank wall. And they dance or run or flare whatever stikes their mood that day.

not just my bettas (when i had them). all other fish, the cats, the dogs, horses, you name it.
will probably eventually start talking to lampshades, the tv etc, but am not that crazy just yet!

I talk to my finbabies and furbabies, but none of your options was the correct choice for me. Like the others, I talk about how particularly gorgeous they're looking that day, how they're the envy of the neighborhood, how grateful I am for them being in my life. You know, the usual....

i talk to all my animals, and you know what? They talk back (well, my siamese cats do-if only I could speak cat!)

I talk to my bettas to tell them how beautiful they are and how particularily handsome they are looking today (depends if male or female). I think I talk more to animals than my other half lol!

Oh lordi yes. Alot!! To all my animals and fish. Some of my boys aren't real sociable but they still enjoy the odd chat. And my catfish love being sung to!! No I'm not crazy, but since they live as part of the family I'm hardly about to treat them as second class citizens now am I!!

P.S:I also hold my fish in my hands if they need moving. They relax far more then being dangled in some net.

I talk to all my fish at random times during the day, espically my bettas that I raised from the day they were born. I love them almost like any other pet, but in a different way.

Ahaha... no. I love bettas, but they are, in no way, my "wittle babies." At times I say "COME ON BUILD A FRICKIN BUBBLENEST." Does that count?

Yes! I talk to them, but, like others, not about the weather or anything like that. I tell them how good/cute they look, praise them for their nests, sometimes even read to them .

Holding the fish in your hand does sound like a gentler idea, but I'm so clumsy, they are safer in the net I think.
