i say "yumyumyum huh??" at feeding time and "your so pretty! yes you are!" when im bored or giving him a treat. i pretty much do that with all my pets in a high pitched cooing voice.

if you think people are weird for talking to their fish.... id hate to think what you recon of me... i keep my radio on next to teh tank for him to have some company. not only will this keep him busy with listening but it also gets him use to the loud noises in my room at times. seems to be working and i suggest it to anyone.

I talk to them every day, and they wiggle for me! I love wiggle dances...

I usually start out by saying hello in the morning and tell him how handsome he is, then I just babble on about whatever while he does his wiggle dance and flips himself back and forth over the thermometer in anticipation of breakfast.

Yep, I'm guilty of talking to my boys!! The youngest, Ghost, loves swimming close to the tank when I talk to him. Ivan, the eldest, really doesn't do much...he normalls swims away LOL!! Anywhoo, I love talking to them, I think it soothes them IMO.
