Orange Sharks 94 Litre Marine Attempt!

there very similar, we had a hectors at work for a few months feeding well and looking lively, got sold in the end so unfortunetly i cant give you an idea of its progress.

this one was doing well at the lfs, took flake there so hopefully all shall go well

well my hectors goby has taken some brine shrimp or mysis (cant remember which one) and has been munching on my hair algae.

I want one more fish that will be in and out of my rocks because at the moment ive got 2 clowns that stay at the from, a hectors goby that sifts the sand on the bottom.

Also would i be able to fit another cleaner in with them?

thanks,

orange shark

yet another update today

went to the marine specialists today and was SO dissapointed.

He had hardly any dry goods in, about 5 tanks actually set up with some VERY poor fish in e.g. a half dead clarkii, some horrible peppermints and a bad condition royal gramma.

All the other tanks were filled but empty of stock :(

theres only one place in the town that does marines apart from that place and its where i work, we dont get that much variation in so looks like i'll be ordering off the internet for fish i struggle to get hold of at work :(

where abouts do you live? i know of two shops within 20mins of me that do marines. Ones a big garden center which i try to avoid then the others a small shop thats slit into marine and tropical and the guys there are really sound. Its where all my fish have come from. They probably have 20 tanks for marine whith all sorts of fish. But if your at the other side of sheffield then it would be quite a drive

that goby is a stunner though

a fair bit away then mate. You would have to go down the m1 to junct 30. Then one is about 2 mins from the junction the others about 8 or 10. The furthest being the best shop. But if you woudl be interested in going id wait til they get their big delevery in, for most choice. Any idea what fish your looking for? im there that often i know what they have

thats the thing, i have no idea what i want :( which is why i wan to go to a shop and see what catches my eye :(

well i bought myself another cleaner shrimp yesterday.

I am planning on re-doing my CUC. My current hermits have killed 7 of my astrea's so i want to get rid of them so i can get some new ones.

At the moment i have 4 astreas left :(

Im going to buy the rest of my CUC off fishmanfrags, this is my plan:

6 blue knuckle hermits
6 blackfoot trochus snails
6 super turbo snails

that sound ok?

edit: Ben its not beighton is it?

no mate...the one nearly on junction 30 is a big dobbies garden center. i do try and avoid them though, the staff tell you anything and they also seem over priced. They do have loads of marines in though, some very interesting stuff like marine bettas to stange puffers and box fish The one i use is a tiny one in Mastin Moore the guys who own it are genuinly interested in the fish. They will order for you aswel. They usually have like small gobies, blennys, cardianls, angels etc al the time though.

Whats the beighton one like, im always interested to have a look at other shops
