New Tank!

Well after 3 months, I proudly announce that I am now suffering from MTS :fun:

I picked up a brand new Juwel Rekord 800 for £129. Bought a tub of substrate, some fine gravel, juwel black bark background. It's now full of water on the shelf that I built :hyper:

and fingers crossed she will be clear by morning. cut a square of sponge from my existing mature media and put that into the new filter and squeezed the bit left over into the new tank :sick:

anyways, well excited and am now reconsidering using it for a guppie/platy tank :look:

, should help that I put some mature media in plus squeezed all that gunk out and put some bateria gel onto the new sponges shouldn't it?

Haha, took me about 3 attempts to read this thread to understand that MTS stood for More Tank Syndrome. The first 2 times i read it i was thinking Malaysian Trumpet Snails haha. Well, it makes sense. It all hits us sooner rather than later, MTS that is

haha i too am starting to suffer from this. Already planning my third tank, and my second just finnished cycling hahahah

i have only been in the hobby 6 months aswell

taking over fast. Have so many ideas. for so many different tanks

Same here! Fish keeping for 5 months, got my second tank at 3 months. Now I am looking at nano tank! God help me!

The most knowledgeable person I have met when it comes to aquatics, and only cares about the fish and their environments, not sales. Could not recommend more. So happy it's close by my workplace.
