New Tank :)

bought my new tank today found on gumtree and bought for the grand total of £20, the only thing I had to go on were the dimentions and a little sticker on the back of the hood that says lightglo, from this and after a bit of research I believe it is a hagen fluval 800 duo deep! if anyone can confirm this that would be great. very nice looking tank indeed cannot grumble at that price! the light unit in the hood is broken so will be posting up to see if anyone can help me sort out the wiring but it came with an extra light unit so thats awesome.
The plan so far is to get it drilled and have a diy wet dry sump undernieth just for the challenge really, sand substrate and slate or large pebbles inside i'm thinking may look good, watch this space

It's 31us gallon bit of an unusual size measuring 800 x 350 x 400mm

does anyone know what the green thing is? looks like it could be a breeding trap but its really small but tall

atm my current stocking will be moved over to this tank when its all set up, probable change it up a bit somewhere along the line plan is for my current tank to be for fry and maybe shrimp

hey people, setting up a sump and not sure what return rate I need? what turn over is recommended? so for my 100litre tank what should I look for in pump performance? how many lph? the tank will be about a foot and a half off the ground cheers
