I've recently up graded to a fluval207 from a 106. It states the New media will contain air pockets and the filter will desperse bubbles from the outlet, it's now been a week and still doing it 3/4 times a hour ( just for the record I've put the 106 media in 207) and I've checked tubes are tight.
While I'm on the subject, has anyone replaced the ugly ribbed tubing for clear pvc tubes as I'm thinking of doing it.
Thanks.

Give the filter a gentle rock to try and dislodge air in it.

Yes you can change the tube for clear plastic hose.

I agree. Just try to jiggle the media or the filter so it gets rid of the air bubbles.

Thanks for the replies. I gave it a wobble just over an hour ago, it's done it twice. I'm not expecting miracles right away but its better than doing it 3 too 4

No problem. Just do it a few more times and you should be good.

*update* Well! I've put the clear tubes on and purchased a lilly pipe. No burst of air bubbles, yet
