Naughty Nanna

i know the magistrates courts like the back of my hand, and personally know a JUDGE that works at lancaster magistrates court in the next city to me. JUDGES DO 'JUDGE' in magistrates courts. the jury are members of the public.

but, here, you don't know what you are talking about! there are no judges at magistrates court. they preside over "Crown Court" trials. Magistrates court are, used by Magistrates! oddly enough. Magistrates are chosen from, usually, people with a none legal background. they are members of the public who, accept the responsibility, as Justices of the Peace.

all i can suggest is. you have misunderstood, your friend. or, he is telling fibs. (possibly exaggerating)

FYI.
1, Judges and Juries try Crown Court trials.
2, Magistrates/JP's preside over Magistrate Court Trials.
no if's, no but's, just plain, simple, fact.
it does help if you understand any subject you post on though. especially when contradicting, someone who does. like Wilder.
do you not have Goggle?

no, whats goggle? think you need some goggles actually, if you didn't understand what i said.
i personally know a judge, its actually the grandad of a very good friend of mine, he has been a judge most of his working life after qualifying, he spends his days doing what judges do, at 'LANCASTER MAGISTRATES COURT@ if that didn't sink in the first time.
if you guys want to think you know better than anyone else then you go ahead and do so. im stating unarguable facts, and your just trying to feed me cow poo about what you think goes on.
i couldn't care less what you tell me is supposed to happen, or your outlook on what you think happens, im telling you what happens at my local magistrates courts, if it happens at one it happens at others.

game over sweet cheeks, argue with yourself now.

I never wrote that actually lol. My son did, he dosn't know I have posted it. :D :hyper:
He's in his last year at uni studying law.
