Hi!
So I like to paint my nails- a lot. But I’ve never had a problem with cleaning my tanks with painted nails because I never do it in the same day.
However, I’m leaving for France on Wednesday and I most likely won’t be able to do any cleaning tomorrow, but I just repainted a broken nail. Will painting your nails and cleaning a fish tank in the same day harm the fish?
Thanks!
(I hope this is the right section to post this)

I don’t think so. Because of the fact that most finger nail polish is water proof, I wouldn’t think it wis ups hurt your fish. I couldn’t be wrong. @Colin_T might be able to help you on that one.

(If you feel like you might contaminate the tank, just where a lax free surgical glove. I hope this helps!) :)

Thank you, it does help!

Make sure the nail polish is dry, then wash your hands with warm soapy water to remove any residue from the nail polish, and you should be fine.
