Yeah true. The idea is to have the Angel area to the left heavily planted and where the eel is have it more rocky and bare as if he’s leaving the open sea and going into like stream or river.

Wow, looking good! That plec is a beauty, very striking eyes and pronounced colourings on the body. The eel's quite the eye-catcher too! Scary little dude, love it.

Precisely!! I think it's the way the eyes look kind of sunken in? In art, if you want to make the eyes stand out as creepy, you have them focus on the viewer and illustrate them sunken back into the sockets, which is the sort of way morays look, but without any special effects!
