Biokid our hopes were heard by midnight! I have just spent 40 minutes trying to catch all her fry and i still don't think i have caught them all. They got a treat tonight thanks to midnights efforts.

Woohoo after posting my last post i went and tryed counting the fry and i got to about 40-45 fry. That's why she was so big! Well all fry are ok for now just have to wait and see how this lot does. Had to put food in the tank because i had to feed my 1 week old cory fry. The guppy fry ate something which is a good sign.

Yeah hi-fin bronze corys. It's a shame you live so far, i could have given you some for your 36 gallon if they would be ok.

awee thanks i know my moms fiance got 3 baby angelfish for the 36 gallon tank(i had no say in this) now its definetly over stocked!

Well day 2 and the guppy and cory fry (from the first batch) are great all eating well and growing (man they grow quick in my tank)

awe thats good mine are not growing at all they just get longer not wider or fatter.i found more with a gravid spot so i might seperate them soon.

Yeah mine get longer not fatter. I got them some baby brine shrimp today so they have live food to chase around.
Even the corys come off the bottom to catch some.

In PA you could order brine shrimp cysts on line from lots of places biokid. A Google search for artemia cysts will give you a lot of results. I got my last jar of cysts from this place and they even threw in a measuring spoon for measuring the amount to make a 2 liter bottle hatchery get just the right amount. That place deals with larger amounts than most people will ever use but they have top quality cysts available. Other places are probably better for smaller amounts. a half pound of cysts is a lifetime supply for most folks. They don't keep well enough to be ordering that much all at once though.
