After my recent disaster I have decided to rebuild the tank.

All new plants, new substrate I went with plain old pea gravel, All the drift wood has been scrubbed and soaked. I cheated with cycling by pinching a tray of media from the 6 foot tank, I had to throw out the media I had just to be sure.

Rasboras love a few floating plants. So I got a few. I have Duckweed and Azolla. Azolla - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Current stock 2 apple snails and a few shrimp

Also added 11 Trigonostigma hengeli or Glowlight rasbora's I might go for a school of 20.

New additions to the tank. A male BN pleco 3 inches long, and a female Albino Bn Pleco 3 inches long. Will post photos when I can.

Looks beautiful! Love that light!! What light did you get if you don't mind my asking??

Now be gentle here remember this is a rebuild and the plants need to grow in along the back.

With some careful planing and strategic placement and drilling of holes in the spray bar I can run my 800 LPH filter quite easily and it hardly creates a ripple.

I also added a Betta. My New Betta Zsa Zsa

Looking great!
Yes they do look like snakes. They look real cool slithering thru that wood, Its full of holes and splits. I drilled lots of hole in it and hit it with an axe.

The kuhli loach is a small eel-like freshwater fish belonging to the loach family. They originate from Indonesia and the Malay Peninsula. This snake-like creature is very slender and nocturnal. Wikipedia
