It's time for little update.

So, here it is: the 8,5 footer, 1125 liter tank with paludaria.

At the moment it's a mix of South-America and Asia, as we don't have the room for two large tanks, but in the future we are planning to make two separate ones. Therefore there is 26 clown loaches, 4 large plecos, a fire eel, 4 geophagus winemilleris and 2 geophagus sp. rio maicurus in here, just for starters.

We like the look in the tank, with only one or two plants in it and others in the paludaria. There is many kinds of orchids and chilis growing in there.

Our fishes are really tame and the most of them can be handfed. :)

There's also a video about the lights going on. :D

Absolutely amazing, I envy you! My 110 litre feels big to me... Don't actually think I could handle a 1125 litre tank!!

Love the video - I love how the lighting gradually increases.

how do you get your lighting todo that?, will it work with any bulbs? and does it cost a bomb?

Wooooooooow weeeeeeeeee..... What a Beautiful tank, thats some skills you got there, also stunning fish

Thank you!

They are metal halide lamps, and yes, they cost a fortune and take a looooot of power. So they can be seen in the bill. But they are totally worth their prize when thinking about plants.

I hate looking in this section of the forum sometimes, I really do.

I now hate my tank.

Your tank is awesome by the way. Awesome! You've clearly put a lot of thought, effort, time and money into your tank. Really, well done.

Man I would love to go topless with my tank. But with the cooolllld winter and my basement not being heated My heaters would be running constantly... Oh well. Nice tank though!!!!

Er. um, gorgeous setup i should say.. lol Nice dont even start to cover it!!!

Thanks. ^^ We had some heaaavy pieces of glass on top of it at first, but we got rid of them quite long ago. It takes more power when open, but we like it more that way. :p
