Moss Balls, A Texas Cichlids Worst Nightmare Lmao

My big brave Tex, who attacks and maimes anything that goes into his tank is scared witless of Moss balls

I put 12 in earlier today (they are for new tank coming Tuesday!!!!!! Yiiiihaaa) and he hasnt moved from his cave area since, granted some did float around for a while and have now sunk but he refuses to come out.......they are alien monsters who will devour him if he dares move

reminds me of brutis, how they will attack any fish any hand,,,,,but show them a reflection of themselves or something like you did and they swim for the hills

yes he was a stunner just wish i could have had more space for another larger tank, he just kept growing,,,,,,,but didnt like tank mates<loner

see you have a salvini......i had one ,reminded me abit of brutis in his younger days,,didnt get on with my fishes,so it had to go,,,its in holding waiting to go to angelmouses

Prawn and bloodworm has tempted him out, although he skirted the balls, eyeing them suspiciously, give it a day and he will be flinging them around the tank trying to beat them into submission

haha ur tex sounds like a right character... and yea my sal he is like the Right hand man in the tank he has a evil looking face haha well if i ever own a jag ill be over the moon they are my second fav cichlid then i would say my jacko what would be minimum tank for a jag on its own nelly

atleast a 75gallon but going by brutis he just kept growing,,,i knew people with 14+inchers.......
had him in my oscar tank for a year and half fine, then one day he flipped

Lol scared of moss balls, thats funny. Careful though when he gets brave enough you could have a tank full of moss peices. I love texas cichlids i have a baby that needs to grow as he's a right wimp at the moment and had to remove him from my cichlid tank for a break.

Lol scared of moss balls, thats funny. Careful though when he gets brave enough you could have a tank full of moss peices. I love texas cichlids i have a baby that needs to grow as he's a right wimp at the moment and had to remove him from my cichlid tank for a break.

Oh yes, one was attacked and mutilated during the night, cant even find some of the pieces of it - think I might move them out of there.
