MLB 2026

Fish, we need some more wins! Go Phillies! Up and down again, yes it’s early, but…..

Well, I think it will be the Braves, Phillies when it comes down to the NL East title. Not really impressed with the Mets, although they are 7-5, but still, I do not see them making the playoffs.

Hope you guys dont get the title or Wild Card though, y'all beat us up twice in the playoffs lol.

Yep. I love college football, college baseball (15 billion times better than MLB as far as crazy games), college bball, (congrats to Michigan on the title, and MLB. But MLB is my fav, always has always will be.

So true. I think he is just a natural at the sport. Also appreciate him putting Tim Anderson's butt on the ground.
You know who else is a freak of nature? The right now RBI leader, Rookie of the year 2025 Drake Baldwin. Personally, I think he is going to be in MVP voting by the end of the year. Most consistent player (aside from Freddie Freeman, his avg is always 300, past braves hero) on the planet right now. 17 hits, 15 RBIS. .321 avg, what?? I know it is only over 10 games in this year, but it is not just this year. The guy won the ROY in 25; his stats were awesome. 111 hits. 80 RBIS. 274 ba (not bad for a rookie), a OPS+ of 127. Amazing. Not to mention a great defensive catcher as well. He has come in clutch already this year. In the Royals series he went off. Sadly I only think he is the guy I can trust for a 2 out man on 2nd situation when your down by a run. He just gets it DONE.

Against the Angels Walt Weiss showed off his football skills. He DRILLED Jorge Soler!!! Unreal!!! That is by far one of the biggest brawls in the MLB in the last few years, I mean, they were throwing punches for a good time there, until Walt got low and put Soler on the grass. On a side note, Grant Holmes, and Lopez did great in their starts. Also, Riley and Acuna Jr finally woke up. Acuna has had a rough go at it thus far, but when he gets going on all 4 cylinders you cannot tell me he is not one of the greatest players in the game. Honestly, I would put him pound for pound up there with Ohtani. We all know what he did in 23.

Braves are 8-5, and have not lost a series yet. Leading NL east. I pray we keep it going.
Cleveland is also 8-5 with no series loss. :) They have also been playing quality teams such as going 2-2 against the Mariners and 2-1 against both the Dodgers and Cubs with 7 of the 10 games on the road. They also went 2-1 against KC

Hmmm, with 2 outs, down a run and a runner in scoring position who would I want at the plate for Cleveland? One of 2; Jose Rameriz or Steven Kwan. If I had to choose one of the 2 it would probably be Kwan. Of course, Rameriz is more likely to get an extra base hit than Kwan, but a single will score the run just as well in most cases. Kwan just puts the ball in play more and strikes out less even though Rameriz isn't going to ever lead the league as to strike outs. Actually, it would be a tough decision as both are great clutch hitters.

Tomorrow, 4/10/26, Cleveland visits the Braves in Atlanta for a weekend series. Should be a good series. Cleveland is pretty hot at the plate right now with 6-7 doubles yesterday against KC in a 10-2 win. Right now, Cleveland reminds me a bit of their 2016 Worls Series team but with more power. The great defense is still there with only 2 errors so far and more punch at the plate. Like the 2016 team they are getting that 2 out hit to score a run on a regular basis.

We will see who gets bragging rights. ;) I wish your Braves luck but, as a Cleveland fan, hope it is all bad luck.
