I love my fluval aquasky. Though I bought it because I have plants. Lol. It is not a plant light though but it has white, red, green, and blue lights. You can play around with a ton of effects on it which I love. You'll be able to get everything exactly like you want it. But if you want a ramp timer for it you will have to go for the fluval one itself. It has some pretty bad reviews on that but mine seems to be working ok. I do wish it had regular buttons instead of what it has.

Anyway, the light is amazing. Just be careful on your settings and keep watch because it may grow algae. Also...it gets very hot!! I work nights and when i'm off I cover my tanks to keep them dark. Don't ever cover this light with anything on it. Mine actually melted a tiny bit on the top of the black casing. But without covering it the top of it still gets pretty hot but doesn't melt. That is about the only thing I wish was different. It needs better heat control or something.

I recently got the Finnex Planted+ 24/7 and am running in 24/7 mode and love it. Although it can also be used as a regular light on sunny, max or any custom settings, the 24/7 mode gives a 6am sunrise, ramping up to a bright noon-3pm, then ramps down to sunset and moonlight. A surreal natural affect that's growing my plants really well. I know you're not thinking plants but some non rooted Java Ferns and Anubias would be cool in your tank.
Now as it turns out I felt the tank was too bright in the wee hours so I put it on a timer on at 6am, off at midnight. Still running in 24/7 mode. The beauty is it comes back on at 6am (timer) at 6am feature time. It just adds a whole new natural dimension to the tank/hobby.....not to mention that it's easier on the fish adjusting to the light in both directions.
You might also find value in the slightly less powerful (but value priced) VivaGrow DN RGB LED Light that also has a 24/7 mode.
