Leaking 125 Needs Advice

Hi, I'm Chris. Just found this site and am in need of real options an advice for the problem I have with the 125 Gal. tank that I have my 27 in. Snakehead (Chanis Micropletes) in. While workers were tearing down the cieling in my basement, one must have jostled the tank. No cracks in the glass but a pretty serious leak. I'm loosing about 1 gal/hr. I only have a 55 Gal. to retank her in and I'm worried about it. Any advice or recipe for success would be greatly apprieciated. This fish has been with me for at least 11 years and is part of my family. I really don't to risk her.

The snakehead should be ok in the smaller tank for a few days while you are repairing/replacing her normal tank. Just be sure to move the filter/s over with her so it will be cycled. And since she is so large, I'd make sure the tank is just bare so she's not any more crowded.
