i have six Platties in my 10g, Zane & Firefly, Hexadecimal, Baby Kiss, Polly & Mishka-Ishka. Mishka is a mother to four health, bouncing fry, Kiss is momma to four other bouncing fry. Zane is a bit too... enthusiastic... for any of the girls, and he's gotten so annoying Hex bashes him with her tail when he gets out of line, since she's the Big Girl. Firefly is a loner, and quite strangely has not tried to breed once since i got him. his gonopodium is too long, and i've read that can affect it so they can't breed. now, Kiss is a little girl, but she likes Zane. Zane doesn't like her, she's too small, he wants the big tough Hex, or Polly, or Mishka, to have his fry. so Zane chases her away, and she goes algae picking with Firefly. all the girls like Firefly, but he wants nothing to do with any of them.
