I'm brand new to the hobby, and I'm having a bit of trouble with my male dwarf gourami. I've got a 10 gallon tank with a filter and heater, as well as two guppies that share the tank with the gourami. When I feed (once per day), he will bite the food, but then spit it back out. Some feedings he won't even take interest in the food. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Any other tips for beginners would be greatly apprectiated :) Thanks!

I think he could be stressed, as this can cause them to not eat. Correct me if I'm wrong...
I don't know how to fix stress. I'm pretty new to fishkeeping.

Try breaking up the food for him, its possible that its just too big.
